Connections Art Exhibition
Tuesday 25th July to Tuesday 8th August
A celebration of artwork created by children, young people and staff from the NHS Surrey & Borders Partnership Children and Young People Specialist Services, STARS and New Leaf. The exhibition is the first of its kind featuring a range of artwork created by children and young people linked to the topic of ‘Connection’ and What Matters to Me’.
The exhibition is linked to Children’s Mental Health Week which took place in February 2023. Children’s Mental Health Week is organised by the Pace2Be charity and this year its theme was ‘Let’s Connect’ which encouraged children and adults to look at how they can make meaningful connections. The artwork created by the children and young people reflects and gives insight to what really matters to children and how they connect with others and the world around them.
The STARS and New Leaf services are run by Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SAPB). The STARS service supports children and young people who have been affected by sexual abuse and assault. The New Leaf Service supports children and young people who are in care, leaving care, adopted or under special guardianship orders. If you would like further information about the STARS and New Leaf services and other services run by SABP please follow the link below:
